A devoção Mariana pelas ondas do rádio: um estudo de caso sobre o programa Consagração a Nossa Senhora Aparecida

Abstract

Trata-se de investigar o evento da transmissão radiofônica da Consagração a Nossa Senhora Aparecida na sua dupla dimensão – uma celebração religiosa que é também um programa de rádio – como elemento constitutivo da identidade institucional da Rádio Aparecida e, por extensão, do Santuário Nacional de Aparecida. Essa investigação se dá num amplo contexto de inserção da temática religiosa nos ambientes de difusão de conteúdo oferecidos pelos meios de comunicação social, notadamente o rádio. A contextualização histórica da devoção a Aparecida e dos processos que levaram ao surgimento e consolidação desta celebração/programa permite compor um cenário de relevância simbólica, que se articula entre a espontaneidade típica da religiosidade popular e a padronização de um discurso proferido pela hierarquia eclesiástica. Uma análise de amostras recentes do programa revela o valor que a capacidade de interlocução dos oradores tem para a eficiência comunicacional a partir do rádio, ao passo que o diálogo entre referenciais teóricos dos campos da Comunicação Social e da Teologia Pastoral ilumina a compreensão deste fenômeno e acentua a relevância deste programa de rádio para o universo organizacional no qual ele está inserido. Seeking to understand the origin and foundation of the political structure of his time, in the path of Michel Foucault, the Italian jusphilosopher Giorgio Agamben conducts archaeological-genealogical research, which results in his philosophical project (composed of nine books) entitled Homo Sacer. Throughout his research, the author identifies and proposes paradigms that help him to answer such an objective. Among them, he recovers from the Roman archaic right the figure of homo sacer that, in that context, referred to the exclusion, the banishment of a man from his own community, vetoing its sacrifice to the gods: it became killable and uncrackable. From the broad theoretical framework presented by Agamben around the articulation between naked life (homo sacer) and sovereignty, this dissertation intends to “shed light” on homo sacer, which is configured in his work as the reference of western politics. Therefore, it is essential to understand its articulation with other concepts and paradigms developed in Agamben's research, such as state of exception and group and field, a discussion that is located more directly in the first three works of the project, namely: Homo Sacer I (1995), Remnants of Auschwitz (1998) and State of exception (2003). The methodological approach adopted in this dissertation was the bibliographic one, and the deepening of the theme implied the study of key authors in Agamben's work. The political function attributed by sacredness to life instigates a broad reflection and argumentation about the concepts and conceptions that have been consolidated on the western tradition, as well as on the understanding of the growing problems in the present time.
