O diálogo inter-religioso como pressuposto para a construção de uma ética mundial: a perspectiva de Hans Küng

Abstract

A presente dissertação pretende analisar a plausibilidade do projeto de ética mundial (Weltethos, em sua origem alemã), pesquisando os fatores históricos e conceituais que viabilizaram a existência de uma força ética comum às grandes tradições religiosas da humanidade. Apresentamos o diálogo inter-religioso como pressuposto do processo de formulação da declaração de ética mundial, apresentada por Hans Küng no Segundo Parlamento das Religiões Mundiais, no ano de 1993. De acordo com o referido documento, a base ética comum das religiões encontra-se, em primeiro lugar, no princípio da humanidade “todo ser humano deve receber tratamento humano” e no princípio milenar da regra de ouro “faça aos outros o que desejas que façam a ti”. Estes princípios se desdobram em quatro preceitos inamovíveis que estão associados aos quatro mandamentos da humanidade: compromisso com uma cultura da não-violência e do temor diante de toda a vida (não matar), compromisso com uma cultura da solidariedade e uma ordem econômica justa (não furtar), compromisso com uma cultura da tolerância e uma vida de veracidade (não mentir), compromisso com uma cultura da igualdade de direitos e do companheirismo entre homem e mulher (não fornicar). A partir destes elementos estruturantes da referida declaração, na qual o teólogo ecumênico Hans Küng esboça e norteia o projeto de ética mundial, procuramos desenvolver nesta pesquisa, de forma descritiva, discursiva, interpretativa e crítica, a aplicabilidade e as resistências à concretização de tal ética mundial, que tem como base propulsora o diálogo entre as religiões no decorrer na pósmodernidade.

This research proposes an analysis of the beauty of the work of art in its religious expression, considering its symbolic elements a possible place for the manifestation of Beauty, based on the appreciation of the work of Our Lady of Piedade de Caeté (MG), attributed to the artist Antônio Francisco Lisboa, the Aleijadinho, under the look of the categories of beauty presented by the philosopher and theologian Bruno Forte. Based on the analysis of beauty in art in the light of the sciences of religion, this paper aims to read the path of beauty expressed in the work as a possibility of mediation of religious experience, emphasizing the relevance of this important historical and artistic heritage listed by the Institute of National Historical and Artistic Heritage, in the religious field. The relevance of this research to the important religious expression mediated by the image and the commemoration in the current year of the 250-year jubilee of pilgrimage to the shrine of Our Lady of Mercy of Caeté (MG) (1767-2017) is justified. as a field still little explored in academic research stricto sensu. In order to achieve this objective, two important studies will be taken of the Shrine of Our Lady of Mercy of Caeté (MG), The Serra and the Sanctuary of Nossa Senhora da Piedade: an eighteenth-century heritage of the Gold Mines, of José Carlos Vargens Tambasco and O Aleijadinho in the Serra da Piedade, by Edmundo Fontenelle. A historical contextualization and the characteristics of the image will be presented. For the analysis of the beauty of the work will be used the method of image analysis proposed by the art historian Erwin Panofsky. Then, to appreciate the work from its symbolic-narrative elements, it will be proposed a reading of the beauty of the work, highlighting the importance of the symbol and the elements and categories of beauty presented in Bruno Forte's thought, in order to present denotative elements of beauty of the work of art as a way or mediation of the experience of beauty as an authentic religious experience.
