O desenvolvimento da linguagem oral: possibilidades a partir de um jogo de regras

Abstract

A pesquisa parte do pressuposto da importância da linguagem para o desenvolvimento do psiquismo humano e das possibilidades de tal processo ser mediado pela utilização de atividades que envolvam o jogo de regras enquanto prática que promova a interação entre alunos dos anos iniciais do Ensino Fundamental. Sendo assim, tem por objetivo geral investigar o uso do jogo de regras como um recurso pedagógico no desenvolvimento da linguagem oral dos alunos em ambiente escolar. Foram definidos como objetivos específicos: (i) identificar modos pelos quais as crianças fazem uso da linguagem oral durante o desenvolvimento das partidas e (ii) explorar mediações da professora e dos pares e seus possíveis efeitos no uso estratégico da linguagem oral. Participam desta pesquisa vinte e quatro crianças de uma turma de segundo ano do Ensino Fundamental, alunos da pesquisadora em uma instituição de ensino municipal de Campinas. Os objetivos foram alcançados através de observações registradas por meio de videogravações da prática de jogo, especialmente planejado para a pesquisa, o qual foi inserido na rotina escolar da respectiva turma, com mediação das estratégias de linguagem que desencadeiam ações favoráveis na prática do jogo. Tais estratégias de mediação permeiam o resgate das informações levantadas durante a prática do jogo, a observância das regras estabelecidas, a orientação para efetivar as ações dos jogadores e promovendo a atenção dos envolvidos para o desenvolvimento da atividade. Este trabalho foi desenvolvido pela linha de pesquisa Formação de Professores e Práticas Pedagógicas por meio do Programa de Pós-Graduação em Educação da PUCCampinas e espera-se que os resultados tragam novos subsídios teóricos relativos a práticas pedagógicas que contribuam para o desenvolvimento da linguagem verbal das crianças, estruturada por meio do jogo de regras; bem como, por tratar-se de uma pesquisa de aplicação, pretende-se contribuir para a formação de professores.

The research starts from the assumption of the importance of language for the development of the human psyche and of the possibilities of such a process to be mediated by the use of activities that involve the game of rules as a practice that promotes the interaction between students of the early years of Elementary School. Therefore, its general objective is to investigate the use of rules as a pedagogical resource in the development of students' oral language in a school environment. Specific objectives were defined: (i) to identify ways in which children use oral language during the development of games and (ii) to explore teacher and peer mediations and their possible effects on the strategic use of oral language. Twenty-four children from a second-year elementary school class participated in this research, students of the researcher at a municipal educational institution in Campinas. The objectives were achieved through observations recorded through video recordings of the game practice, specially planned for the research, which was inserted in the school routine of the respective class, with mediation of language strategies that trigger favorable actions in the practice of the game. Such mediation strategies permeate the retrieval of the information gathered during the practice of the game, the observance of the established rules, the orientation to carry out the players' actions and promoting the attention of those involved in the development of the activity. This work was developed by the research line Teacher Training and Pedagogical Practices through the Graduate Program in Education at PUC- Campinas and it is expected that the results will bring new theoretical subsidies related to pedagogical practices that contribute to language development children's verbal, structured through the game of rules; as well as, as it is an application research, it is intended to contribute to the training of teachers.
