Um estudo winnicottiano sobre a integração psico-somática para compreensão das doenças de pele

Abstract

O objetivo desta pesquisa de natureza teórica é o estudo do processo de integração psico-somática, em especial no que se refere à compreensão das doenças de pele, bem como sua relação com as falhas ambientais que podem ocorrer no processo de amadurecimento pessoal. Para Winnicott, a existência humana é psico-somática e seu desenvolvimento, em termos do amadurecimento afetivo, será possibilitado fundamentalmente pela relação de dependência e pela ação do ambiente. Inicialmente, para o bebê, não existe uma realidade não-self e, em relação ao desenvolvimento na saúde, os cuidados ambientais levarão à integração com a diferenciação interno/externo e entre eu/não-eu. Este fenômeno pode ter a pele como o reconhecimento de uma membrana limitadora entre o fora e o dentro. Defende-se, neste trabalho, que os sintomas das doenças psico-somáticas relacionadas à pele têm sua gênese em possíveis falhas ambientais que aconteceram em momentos precoces do desenvolvimento afetivo do bebê, cujo objetivo é alcançar um tipo de integração. Ao mostrar os diversos tipos de integração que ocorreriam num amadurecimento saudável, explicita-se que as doenças psico-somáticas podem ser entendidas como tentativas de integração. Com tal compreensão geral dos distúrbios psicossomáticos, analisam-se os diversos momentos em que Winnicott se refere às doenças da pele, aprofundando tanto a compreensão das doenças psico-somáticas quanto as dinâmicas psico-afetivas relacionadas especificamente às doenças de pele.

The aim of this theoretical research is the study of the psycho-somatic integration process, especially concerning the comprehension of skin diseases and its relationship to the environmental failures that may occur on the emotional maturation process. Winnicott interprets that human existence is essentially psycho-somatic and the development, in relation with the emotional maturation, will be possible essentially by the relation of dependence and the environmental action. For the infant, initially, there is no such thing as the non-self reality and, in regard to the healthy development, the environmental care will lead to the integration process and the distinction of the internal/external and ultimately between me/not-me. This phenomenon may have the skin as the recognition agent of a limiting membrane as a sensitive bond between the inside and the outside. In this paper, we defend the thesis that the symptoms of psycho-somatic diseases, specifically skin diseases, may have its genesis in potential environmental failures that occurred in early phases of the baby‟s emotional development, which goal is to achieve some sort of integration. This research aims to describe the various types of integration that would occur in a healthy maturation, to explain that the psycho-somatic diseases can be understood as attempts of integration. The general comprehension of the psycho-somatic disorders made it possible to analyze the several moments in which Winnicott refers to skin diseases and to a profound study of both psycho-somatic illness and its psycho-affective dynamics related specifically to skin diseases.
