Vivências de jovens no processo de constituição da orientação sexual: cenas e dramas em perspectiva

Abstract

A orientação sexual tem se tornado cada vez mais presente nos discursos sobre a juventude brasileira, tornando mais complexas as relações sociais de jovens não heterossexuais. Esta pesquisa teve como objetivo investigar as vivências presentes nas relações intersubjetivas de jovens dissidentes da heteronormatividade e compreender o lugar que assume as relações familiares e escolares nas vivências dos jovens. Assume como aporte teórico-metodológico a Psicologia Histórico-Cultural de Vigotski e as suas contribuições para a compreensão do desenvolvimento humano como constituído por afetos, pelo drama e pela imaginação. Buscase articular essas concepções com as proposições da filosofia espinosana. A pesquisa fundamenta-se no materialismo histórico e dialético e está inserida em uma matriz qualitativa de tipo participativo, denominada pesquisa-intervenção. Como estratégia metodológica foram realizadas entrevistas individuais em profundidade em uma plataforma digital, com oito jovens, quatro homens e quatro mulheres, todos cisgênero e com orientação sexual não heterossexual, sendo os encontros gravados em vídeo e transcritos. A análise construída foi inspirada na proposta analítica denominada núcleos de significação, a qual implica leituras recorrentes das transcrições em busca de apreender nas falas dos interlocutores as significações presentes nas vivências narradas. A leitura aprofundada dos trechos de fala dos participantes, que denominamos de pré-indicadores, permitiu observar significações recorrentes, que agrupadas deram origem aos indicadores que norteiam a análise de nossos achados, são eles: (a) silenciamento e incitação da vivência da sexualidade, (b) conversas sobre aceitação versus não aceitação, (c) entre o pertencimento e a exclusão. As significações dos jovens revelam o processo de constituição da orientação sexual permeado por situações dramáticas vivenciadas na família e na escola, as quais viabilizaram aos jovens assumirem novas posições sociais e o enfrentamento de afetos que diminuíram a potência de ser e existir. Espera-se com este estudo oferecer subsídios para a compreensão do papel constitutivo da orientação sexual no processo de humanização, ao favorecer que sejam assumidas posições sociais que interferem no desenvolvimento de toda uma coletividade.

Sexual orientation has become increasingly present in discourses about Brazilian youth, making the social relationships of non-heterosexual young people more complex. This study aimed to investigate the experiences present in the intersubjective relationships of young dissidents from heteronormativity and understand the place that family and school relationships assume in the experiences of young people. The research is based on historical and dialectical materialism and is inserted in a qualitative matrix of a participatory type, called intervention-research. As a methodological strategy, individual in-depth interviews on a digital platform, were conducted with eight young people, four men and four women, all cisgender and with non-heterosexual sexual orientation, with the meetings being recorded and transcribed. The analysis constructed was inspired by the analytical proposal named signification nuclei, which implies recurrent readings of the transcripts in an attempt to apprehend the significations present in the narrated experiences in the speeches of the interlocutors. The in-depth reading of the participant’s speech excerpts, which we called pre-indicators, allowed us to observe recurrent significations, which together gave rise to the indicators that guide the analysis of our findings, namely: (a) silencing and inciting the experience of sexuality, (b) conversations about acceptance versus nonacceptance, (c) between belonging and exclusion. The significations of the interviewees reveal the process of constitution of sexual orientation permeated by dramatic situations experienced in the family and at school, which enabled young people to assume new social positions and to face affections that reduced their power of being and existing. It is expected that this study offers subsidies for understanding the constitutive role of sexual orientation in the humanization process, favoring social positions that interfere in the development of an entire community..
