A relação Rússia-OTAN na formulação da política externa de Vladimir Putin

Abstract

Tendo em vista a política externa da Federação Russa nos últimos anos, é possível observar um relacionamento de distanciamento e inimizade com a Organização do Tratado do Atlântico Norte (OTAN), especialmente no governo de Vladimir Putin. Neste sentido, o presente trabalho busca analisar a relação entre o país e a organização, desde o ano de 2000, até o ano de 2015, explicitando eventos e marcos relevantes que evidenciam este relacionamento conturbado, e como a influência e expansão da OTAN na região da Eurásia impactou a condução da política externa da Rússia neste período.

In view of the foreign policy of the Russian Federation in recent years, it is possible to observe a relationship of estrangement and enmity with the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO), especially in the government of Vladimir Putin. In this sense, this paper seeks to analyze the relationship between the country and the organization, since the year 2000, until the year 2015, explaining relevant events and milestones that highlight this troubled relationship, and how the influence and expansion of NATO in the Eurasian region impacted the conduct of Russia's foreign policy in this period.
