Desenvolvimento Humano Municipal) e, apesar disto, a Unidade Escolar conseguiu
atingir e superar as metas para ela estabelecida no Sistema de Avaliação do
Rendimento Escolar do Estado de São Paulo. A escolha dessa unidade escolar e do
vulnerabilidade social.
educação básica, especificamente no Ensino Médio. | pt_BR |
dc.description.abstract | In 2020, faced with the expansion of the COVID-19 Pandemic, governments were
forced to suspend face-to-face classes and adopt remote education in all basic
education networks in the country. Given this scenario, it is questioned which
challenges were identified and which actions were taken by the school community of
a State Technical School, belonging to the State Center of Education Paula Souza,
which offers the Technical Course in Computing for Internet Integrated to High School,
located in a municipality that has low social development? We chose to study the reality
of courses in the area of information technology, as this type of Technical Qualification
inherently needs adequate technology to carry out the training process, the same
technology that students do not always have in their homes. he objective of this
dissertation was to investigate, in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic, the
challenges identified by the school community (managers, teachers, students and their
parents or guardians), the coping actions and the good practices adopted within the
scope of the technical courses integrated into the high school in computer science.
Thus, in order to achieve the expected objectives, a multi-methodological, analytical descriptive, qualitative and exploratory research was carried out. The study begins with
a literature review based on articles, theses and dissertations on the subject.
Subsequently, field research was carried out to collect empirical data through
interviews with the school community of a State Technical School in the municipality
of Santa Isabel, in the State of São Paulo, which has one of the lowest HDI (Human
Development Index Municipal) and, despite this, the School Unit managed to reach
and exceed the goals established for it in the School Performance Evaluation System
of the State of São Paulo. The choice of this school unit and the theme of the present
research was supported by the theoretical field of school effectiveness from which the
study of schools that, despite the adverse socioeconomic context in which they are
inserted, manage to exceed expectations and reach the goals. learning objectives.
Thus, as a result, it was found that the Teaching Unit promoted a series of successful
strategies recognized by the School Community as good practices, many of them
recommended by the interviewees as actions to be used by other State Technical
Schools that belong to the Paula Souza Center and , among these good school
practices in a pandemic context that were highlighted in this research, are relevant for
their pedagogical nature those that had a positive impact on student performance,
especially those in a socially vulnerable family situation. Also, the knowledge produced
in the academic-scientific field was expanded in the effort to understand the effects of
the COVID-19 pandemic on basic education, specifically in high school. | pt_BR |
