O sindicalismo brasileiro está em extinção? Um breve exame do cenário sindical no país

Abstract

O trabalho situa-se na dimensão ontológica fundamental dos seres humanos, uma vez que por meio dele transforma-se a realidade, concretiza-se a sociabilidade e alcança-se a liberdade à vista das amarras monetário-mercadológicas quando se integra a classe que dele vive. A despeito de sua natureza, as últimas décadas foram marcadas por mutações estruturais, sistemáticas e organizacionais no labor, diante do advento neoliberal, do modelo de acumulação flexível do capital e de uma robusta fragmentação operário-coletiva. Toda essa metamorfose repercutiu no sindicalismo, fenômeno no qual se enquadra a representação dos trabalhadores nas relações industriais e na atuação proletário-reivindicativa, e fez com que o horizonte sindical fosse reanalisado, sobretudo pela constatação de um declive nas taxas de sindicalização. Assim, surgiu o debate acerca da natureza do porvir agremiativo, no qual uns creem em seu desaparecimento completo e outros defendem que está em curso um processo disruptivo. Em meio a essa controvérsia, elaborou-se o presente trabalho, cujo escopo é analisar a conjuntura laboral-coletiva nacional nos últimos anos e tentar aferir qual o fado do sindicalismo, passando-se pelo exame da estrutura sindical do país e pelos desafios agremiativo-contemporâneos, até chegar-se as inferências finais, oportunidade na qual se responderá ao título deste manuscrito: o sindicalismo brasileiro está em extinção?

Work is situated in the fundamental ontological dimension of human beings, because it is through it that reality is transformed, sociability materializes and freedom is achieved in view of the monetary-market chains when one integrates the class that lives from labor. Despite its nature, the last few decades have been marked by structural, systematic and organizational changes in work, in the face of the neoliberal advent, the flexible capital accumulation model and a robust worker-collective fragmentation. All this metamorphosis had repercussions on syndicalism, a phenomenon in which workers are represented in industrial relations and in proletarian-demand action and led to a reanalyzing of the trade union horizon, mainly due to the observation of a decline in unionization rates. Thus, the debate arose about the nature of the association's future, in which some believe in its complete disappearance and others argue that a disruptive process is underway. Amidst this controversy, this essay was prepared, whose scope is to analyze the national labor collective situation in recent years and try to assess the fate of unionism, passing through the examination of the country's union structure and the contemporary union challenges, until reaching the final inferences, an opportunity in which the title of this manuscript will be answered: is Brazilian syndicalism in extinction?
