Inteligência artificial: a tecnologia sob um olhar ético

Abstract

Com os avanços tecnológicos, a humanidade está passando por um período de intensas modernizações. A Inteligência Artificial (IA) vem se destacando como um dos principais protagonistas. Este trabalho de conclusão de curso tem como objetivo investigar os conceitos fundamentais dessa tecnologia, enfatizando os impactos éticos que a IA pode ter na sociedade. O tema "Inteligência Artificial: A Tecnologia sob um Olhar Ético" busca discutir questões cruciais, como: qual a importância da ética em um ambiente tecnológico? Quais os desafios éticos em um mundo em que a inteligência artificial está em ascensão? Para abordar essas questões, foi realizada uma pesquisa bibliográfica abrangente, tendo como referência principal o filósofo Dr. Mark Coeckelbergh, que explora as implicações éticas da inteligência artificial em suas obras, especialmente no livro "Ética na Inteligência Artificial". O objetivo central deste estudo é proporcionar ao leitor um entendimento aprofundado sobre a tecnologia, com foco na IA, e explorar detalhadamente o crescimento dessa área. É fundamental ressaltar uma questão central: as implicações éticas do uso da IA e os riscos associados a essa tecnologia. Infelizmente, muitas vezes somos levados a utilizá-la de forma irresponsável. Assim, explorou-se temas relacionados à ética na inteligência artificial, buscando identificar as dúvidas que podem surgir sobre essa temática.

This final course project aims to investigate the fundamental concepts of this technology, emphasizing the ethical impacts that AI can have on society. The theme "Artificial Intelligence: Technology from an Ethical Perspective" seeks to discuss crucial questions, such as: what is the importance of ethics in a technological environment? What are the ethical challenges in a world where artificial intelligence is on the rise?To address these questions, a comprehensive bibliographic research was conducted, with the primary reference being philosopher Dr. Mark Coeckelbergh, who explores the ethical implications of artificial intelligence in his works, especially in the book "Ethics in Artificial Intelligence." The central objective of this study is to provide the reader with an in-depth understanding of the technology, focusing on AI, and to explore in detail the growth of this field. It is essential to highlight a central issue: the ethical implications of using AI and the associated risks of this technology. Unfortunately, we are often led to use it irresponsibly. Thus, themes related to ethics in artificial intelligence were explored, seeking to identify the questions that may arise on this topic.
