Figuras feminina e masculina na Literatura de Cordel

Abstract

A Literatura de Cordel teve origem na Península Ibérica no século XVI e chegou ao Brasil no fim do século XIX, sustentando-se como destaque artístico-cultural e relevante para o cenário literário nacional ainda na contemporaneidade. Como forma de aprofundar os estudos sobre esse fenômeno, este trabalho objetivou compreender como ocorre a representação das figuras feminina e masculina em obras de Chico D’Assis, Antonio Lucena, Dalinha Catunda e Salete Maria da Silva. Adotando como método a Análise do Discurso de Linha Francesa, ancorada em Foucault (1999), Pêcheux (2008), Gregolin (2006) e Coracini (2007), este estudo considerou aspectos das condições de produção dos discursos selecionados, tal como a materialidade linguística desses discursos, consequentemente mapeando as práticas identitárias constituídas pelas representações presentes nessas seleções.

Cordel Literature originated in the Iberian Peninsula in the 16th century and arrived in Brazil at the end of the 19th century, supporting itself as an artistic-cultural highlight and relevant to the national literary scene still in contemporary times. To deepen the studies on this phenomenon, this work aimed to understand how the representation of female and male figures occurs in works by Chico D’Assis, Antonio Lucena, Dalinha Catunda and Salete Maria da Silva. Adopting the French Line Discourse Analysis as a method, anchored in Foucault (1999), Pêcheux (2008), Gregolin (2006) and Coracini (2007), this study considered aspects of the production conditions of the selected speeches, such as linguistic materiality of these speeches, consequently mapping the identity practices constituted by the representations present in these selections.
