Algumas reflexões linguístico-discursivas sobre o livro heroínas negras brasileiras em 15 cordéis, de Jarid Arraes

Abstract

O livro Heroínas negras brasileiras em 15 cordéis, de Jarid Arraes (2017), reúne a vida de algumas figuras femininas negras brasileiras que marcaram a história do Brasil. O objetivo deste ensaio foi refletir sobre os modos de representação da mulher negra na literatura de cordel, sobretudo nas biografias poéticas de Antonieta de Barros, Carolina Maria de Jesus e Maria Firmina dos Reis. O processo analítico dos cordéis teve como base a leitura interpretativa, com um respaldo da Análise do Discurso, ancorada em Coracini (2006) e Gregolin (2006). A relevância deste ensaio está em resgatar a biografia e a contribuição artística de autoras negras e brasileiras que marcaram a nossa História em diversas áreas, partindo do campo político ao literário.

The book Heroínas negras brasileiras em 15 cordéis, by Jarid Arraes (2017), brings together the lives of some Brazilian black female figures who marked the history of Brazil. The aim of this essay was to reflect on the modes of representation of black women in cordel literature, especially in the poetic biographies of Antonieta de Barros, Carolina Maria de Jesus and Maria Firmina dos Reis. The analytical process was based on interpretive reading, with support from Discourse Analysis, anchored in Coracini (2006) and Gregolin (2006). The relevance of this essay is to rescue the biography and artistic contribution of black and Brazilian authors who have marked our history in different areas, from the political to the literary field.
