Gestuar: Acessibilidade digital no home office para surdos no Brasil

Abstract

O presente trabalho, por meio do Design Digital, propõe soluções que visam diminuir as barreiras de comunicação entre surdos e ouvintes no ambiente Home Office. Foi realizado um estudo, através de entrevistas com usuários e pesquisas bibliográficas, com o intuito de entender as principais dificuldades e possíveis alternativas que contribuíssem para o bem-estar do surdo no ambiente de trabalho e sua inclusão. Seguindo a metodologia do Design Universal e Instrucional, o trabalho aborda o ensino de Libras, de modo a incentivar e capacitar colaboradores ouvintes a se comunicarem com os surdos por meio de métodos que se adequem à realidade do trabalhador e o motivem a se engajar no aprendizado e na conscientização da causa. É proposta uma plataforma em formato de website chamada Gestuar, de maneira que colaboradores possam aprender Libras, praticar com seus colegas e subir no ranking da empresa, além do uso das mídias sociais para engajar e informar as pessoas da importância desse aprendizado, da diferença e do impacto que uma empresa com colaboradores capacitados nessa língua podem proporcionar.

The present work, through Digital Design, proposes solutions that aim to reduce communication barriers between deaf and hearing in the Home Office environment. A study was conducted through interviews with users and bibliographic research, in order to understand the main difficulties and possible alternatives that contribute to the well-being of the deaf in the workplace and their inclusion. Following the methodology of Universal and Instructional Design, the work addresses the teaching of Libras, in order to encourage and enable hearing employees to communicate with the deaf through methods that suit the reality of the worker and motivate them to engage in the learning and awareness of the cause. A platform is proposed in the form of a website called Gestuar, so that employees can learn Libras, practice with their colleagues and rise in the company’s ranking, in addition to the use of social media to engage and inform people of the importance of this learning, the difference and the impact that a company with employees trained in this language can provide.
