dc.description.abstract | No território brasileiro existem sete biomas, o bioma marítimo costeiro e
cultivo.
existente no planeta.
| pt_BR |
dc.description.abstract | In the Brazilian territory there are seven biomes, the coastal maritime biome and six
natural terrestrial biomes, object of this research, which would be the Amazon, the
Caatinga, the Cerrado, the Atlantic Forest, the Pampas and the Pantanal, all of which
have in common the continuous occupation anthropic. This occupation began with
extractivism, then with livestock and finally with the cultivation areas. The occupation
during the colonization of Brazil took place in the Atlantic Forest, in the Caatinga, in the
Pampas and more recently in the Pantanal, our biomes as the largest tropical rainforest
in the world, which is the Amazon, has 60% of its area installed in Brazilian territory, being
the most important green area on the planet. So we are seeing the frontier of agricultural
production advancing through the biomes with the consequent reduction of natural areas.
Thus, this existing tension between preserving forests and vegetation cover or ensuring
food security for Brazil and the world, led us to discuss these issues in the new Forest
Code that was enacted in 2012. This legislation improved the APPs (Preservation Areas
Permanent) and the RL (Legal Reserve). The new code was discussed for 12 years in
Congress and in society, it was a national agreement for environmental preservation that
sought to bring peace to the issue, with legal security for rural producers and the
necessary preservation of national biomes. This work is qualitative, descriptive and
exploratory, being a bibliographic and documentary research, using data from
Mapbiomas such as land cover and use and IBGE statistics on planted area and stock of
cattle and other livestock, the work carried out an adaptation of these databases to
Brazilian biomes, enabling the comparison of data, giving greater reliability to the study,
so of the 5570 existing cities in Brazil, 959 cities are located in two biomes and 4 cities are
located in 3 biomes, this adjustment of bases is a pioneering work. The work aims to point
out and analyze for each biome, the main anthropic activities that influence the evolution
of deforested areas. Also compare the existing deforestation with the growth of agricultural
and livestock production in the Brazilian biomes and verify the speed of the deforested
area, the speed of growth of the planted area and the speed of growth of cattle stocks
and other livestock in the Brazilian biomes from 2007 to 2021. As a result, it was found
that in the Amazon and Cerrado biomes, agribusiness grows to the detriment of natural
areas, the Caatinga biome has a reduction in planted area and natural areas, increasing
stocks of other livestock in the Atlantic Forest Biome, natural areas have increased as a
result of the new forestry code, in the Pampas the advance of soy is worrying and in the
Pantanal there is a decrease in flooded areas and the growth of pastures. | pt_BR |
