A recepção feminina da espiritualidade inaciana por cândida Maria de Jesus e sua atuação na educação

Abstract

Este artigo é um estudo a partir das Ciências da Religião sobre a recepção da espiritualidade inaciana pelo viés da atuação das mulheres no século XIX, entre as quais se destaca Cândida Maria de Jesus. O artigo tem o objetivo de recu-perar a memória e atuação feminina de Cândida Maria de Jesus no campo da educação a partir da espiritualidade, eviden-ciando, por meio da sistematização dos elementos espirituais encontrados, uma contribuição original de caráter espiritual e educativo à formação cristã e integral do ser humano. A metodologia da pesquisa é de cunho bibliográfico, sobretudo na contextualização e análise crítica do tema, mas também documental, sendo este o referencial metodológico principal; ou seja, faremos uma aproximação fenomenológica dos escritos de Cândida Maria de Jesus, a partir de suas cartas. Espera-se demonstrar a sistematização dos elementos encontrados a respeito da recepção feminina da espiritualidade inaciana em Cândida Maria de Jesus, que justifica sua atuação no campo educativo, colaborando com ela. A discussão se insere na refle-xão acadêmica sobre a atuação feminina no campo educativo a partir de uma espiritualidade e oferece uma contribuição acadêmica original frente à ausência de trabalhos sobre tal assunto.

This article is a study from the sciences of religion on the reception of Ignatian spirituality based on women’s works in the 19th century, among which in this discussion Cândida Maria de Jesus stands out. The article aims at recovering the memory and the work of Candida Maria de Jesus in the field of education, starting from the reception of Ignatian spiri-tuality. Through the systematization of the spiritual elements found, it shows an original contribution of a spiritual and educa-tional character in the Christian and integral formation of the human being for constructing a more human, just and solidary society. The methodology of this research is bibliographical, especially in the contextualization and critical analysis of the theme to be studied, as well as documental, which is the main methodological reference, i.e., we will make a phenomenolo-gical approach to the writings of Candida Maria de Jesus through her letters and notes, and through some of her guidelines about Christian education. One of the expected results is to demonstrate the systematization of the elements found in the feminine reception of Ignatian spirituality by Candida Maria de Jesus, which justifies its activities in the educational field and contributes to it. This paper aims to enrich the academic discussion about the feminine work in the educational field, in the absence of studies around that subject
