A contribuição da literatura para a evangelização: uma interpretação teopoética na obra "O pequeno príncipe"

Abstract

Este trabalho busca mostrar como podemos evangelizar nos dias de hoje, estabelecendo um diálogo com a literatura. A evangelização é a participação na missão do próprio Filho. Jesus, obedecendo ao mandato do Pai, anunciou com sua vida o Reino. Vemos que a missão de Jesus tem sua conclusão no envio do Espírito Santo. E a Igreja, criada pelo Filho e sustentada pelo Espírito, é a manifestação, no tempo presente, da vida trinitária e da missão de Jesus Cristo. E para cumprir esta missão, a Igreja pode utilizar a literatura, pois, sendo especialista em conhecer as fadigas humanas, as dores e as alegrias, ela pode fornecer uma grande ajuda para a teologia conhecer a pessoa humana e entender sobre esse Deus que se revela. Para mostrar como isso se concretiza, utilizaremos a Teopoética, que é um método que utiliza a linguagem poética e metafórica para acessar o mistério divino, valorizando o simbólico e o afetivo, e servindo como uma hermenêutica gerada no contexto cultural. A aplicação prática em "O Pequeno Príncipe" ilustra como temas como a Infância Espiritual (humildade e conversão), o “Essencial é Invisível aos Olhos” (fé como adesão) e a Cruz na jornada do Príncipe (morte como retorno e esperança na vida eterna) servem como ponto de partida literário para o anúncio de Jesus Cristo. Em suma, o estudo defende que a Teopoética oferece uma linguagem que ressoa com a alma, superando a rigidez doutrinária e facilitando o encontro pessoal e transformador com Cristo.

This work aims to show how we can evangelize today by establishing a dialogue with literature. Evangelization is the participation in the mission of the Son himself. Jesus, obeying the mandate of the Father, announced the Kingdom with His life. We see that Jesus' mission concludes with the sending of the Holy Spirit. And the Church, created by the Son and sustained by the Spirit, is the manifestation, in the present time, of the Trinitarian life and the mission of Jesus Christ. To fulfill this mission, the Church can utilize literature because, being expert in knowing human toils, sorrows, and joys, it can provide great help to theology in knowing the human person and understanding this God who reveals Himself. To show how this is accomplished, we will use Theopoetics, which is a method that employs poetic and metaphorical language to access the divine mystery, valuing the symbolic and the affective, and serving as a hermeneutic generated in the cultural context. The practical application in "The Little Prince" illustrates how themes such as Spiritual Childhood (humility and conversion), “The Essential is Invisible to the Eye” (faith as adherence), and the Cross in the Prince's journey (death as a return and hope in eternal life) serve as a literary starting point for the proclamation of Jesus Christ. In short, the study argues that Theopoetics offers a language that resonates with the soul, overcoming doctrinal rigidity and facilitating the personal and transformative encounter with Christ.
