Os impactos da ampliação do Aeroporto de Viracopos na cidade de Indaiatuba-SP

Abstract

A pesquisa proposta estuda as transformações urbanas da cidade de Indaiatuba no período de (2008-2018). Investiga as possíveis repercussões nessas transformações urbanas dos impactos da expansão do Aeroporto Internacional de Viracopos, situado em área muito próxima aos limites do município, realizada no mesmo período (2008-2018) notadamente nas áreas próximas à Rodovia Santos Dumont. A pesquisa identifica as alterações ocorridas em termos de expansão urbana e as transformações internas ao território já urbanizado, ou seja, ações/empreendimentos de diferentes usos (habitacional, comércio e serviços, e industrial - e suas diferentes localizações e distribuição espacial) que ocorreram durante o período de tempo estudado. Utiliza como metodologia o estudo do município baseado em ortofotos (Google Earth) de 2008 a 2018, dividindo o território a ser estudado em quadriculas de 1.000 m x 1000 m, para realizar análises comparativas das imagens ao longo do período. A pesquisa deu ênfase no levantamento da evolução da expansão das áreas industriais na cidade enfocando no mapeamento realizado as indústrias existentes por ano de instalação e as respectivas localizações. O objetivo desse mapeamento se justifica pelo fato do setor industrial ser uma das principais atividades econômicas e fontes empregatícias da cidade de Indaiatuba e procurou-se verificar o surgimento de novos polos industriais observando as relações com o Aeroporto Internacional de Viracopos, principal aeroporto de cargas do país e a Rodovia Santos Dumont, principal eixo rodoviário estruturador da região.

The proposed research studies the urban transformations of the city of Indaiatuba in the period (2008-2018). It investigates the possible repercussions in these urban transformations of the impacts of the expansion of Viracopos International Airport, located in an area very close to the limits of the municipality, carried out in the same period (2008-2018), notably in areas close to the Santos Dumont Highway. The research identifies the changes that occurred in terms of urban expansion and the internal transformations in the already urbanized territory, that is, actions / undertakings of different uses (housing, commerce and services, and industrial - and their different locations and spatial distribution) that occurred during the time period studied. It uses as methodology the study of the municipality based on orthophoto (Google Earth) from 2008 to 2018, dividing the territory to be studied in 1000 m x 1000 m squares, to carry out comparative analyzes of the images over the period. The research emphasized the survey of the evolution of the expansion of industrial areas in the city, focusing on the mapping of existing industries by year of installation and the respective locations. The purpose of this mapping is justified by the fact that the industrial sector is one of the main economic activities and employment sources in the city of Indaiatuba and we tried to verify the emergence of new industrial centers by observing the relations with Viracopos International Airport, the main cargo airport in the country and the Santos Dumont Highway, the main structuring highway axis in the region.
