Manejo e prevenção da salmonelose em granjas de galinhas poedeiras

Abstract

As bactérias do gênero Salmonela são patógenos com potencial zoonótico comuns de serem encontrados na cultura de poedeiras, e, consigo trazem tanto prejuízo financeiro ao proprietário da granja a qual se instalaram quanto prejuízo a saúde do consumidor de seus produtos. Neste cenário, torna-se importante estabelecer os principais fatores relacionados ao manejo adequado das aves nesta cultura, enfatizando a prevenção da Salmonelose. Desta forma, esta revisão tem como objetivo estabelecer os fundamentos necessários para um correto manejo e prevenção da Salmonelose em granjas de galinhas poedeiras, propondo apresentar neste trabalho o desempenho das principais abordagens, e mostrar assim que apenas uma delas não é suficiente para se prevenir a contaminação e instalação da bactéria.

Bacteria of the Salmonella genus are pathogens with zoonotic potential, common to be found in laying hens poultrys, and with them they bring as much financial loss to the owner of the farm, where they are installed, as the danger of health to the consumer of their products. In this scenario, it is important to establish the main factors related to the proper management of the hens in this culture, emphasizing the prevention of Salmonellosis. Thus, this review aims to determine the foundations for a correct management and prevention of Salmonellosis in laying hens, proposing to present in this work the performance of the main approaches, and thus show that only one of them is not sufficient to prevent contamination and installation of the bacteria.
