A “Igreja em saída” do Papa Francisco e a educação: o Pacto Educativo Global

Abstract

Este artigo apresenta o tema de uma educação integral, com potencialidades para humanizar as relações educativas e transformar a vida dos estudantes. O objetivo principal é apresentar que uma “Igreja em saída”, conforme a proposta do Papa Francisco, está ligada, necessariamente, à educação, porque, se a Igreja sai para o mundo, ela também vai se encontrar com o universo educativo e, consequentemente, com o meio universitário. Oficialmente, o Pacto Educativo Global nasce em 15 de outubro de 2020, com o qual Francisco quer a criação de uma “aldeia global”, uma espécie de rede de apoio em prol da educação, quiçá, a unir toda a sociedade. A metodologia deste artigo é de pesquisa bibliográfica, documental e contextual, valendo-se de textos recentes de educadores e documentos da Igreja Católica. Como resultado, apresenta-se que, por meio de mudança significativas na educação, todos terão uma visão de mundo mais humanizada e, portanto, solidária

This article presents the theme of integral education, which has the potential to humanize educational relationships and transform students' lives. The main objective is to present that an Outgoing Church, as proposed by Pope Francis, is necessarily linkedto education, because, if the Church goes out into the world, it will also encounter the educational universe and, consequently, the university field. Officially, the Global Compact on Education was born on October 15, 2020, with which Franciscowants the creation of a global village, a kind of support network in favor of education uniting the entire society. The methodology of this article is bibliographical, documentary, and contextual research, using recent texts by educators and documents from the Catholic Church. As a result, it is argued that, through significant changes in education, everyone will have a more humanized and, therefore, supportive worldview
