“MINHA FILHA VIROU MOCINHA”: COMPREENSÕES DA MATERNIDADE PARA MULHERES-MÃES DE ADOLESCENTES DO GÊNERO FEMININO

Abstract

A experiência da maternidade é geralmente vivida com grande intensidade emocional. Com a chegada da adolescência, a mãe enfrenta novos desafios, especialmente com as filhas, que passam a questionar ideais de mulher e de mãe, o que pode impactar a relação entre ambas. Este estudo teve como objetivo compreender como mulheres vivenciam o papel de mãe de adolescentes do gênero feminino. Tratou-se de uma pesquisa qualitativa, que utilizou entrevistas individuais não estruturadas, iniciadas por uma pergunta norteadora e realizadas na modalidade on-line. Participaram do estudo dez mulheres-mães de adolescentes do gênero feminino, com idades entre 33 e 49 anos. Nos resultados, foram apresentadas análises individuais de cada entrevista e uma análise conjunta, que buscaram compreender a vivência singular de cada participante e os aspectos coletivos emergentes. Essas análises auxiliaram a pesquisadora na identificação de possíveis eixos temáticos. A discussão foi elaborada a partir de eixos temáticos definidos com o apoio da Inteligência Artificial e posteriormente conferidos pela pesquisadora. Os resultados revelaram reposicionamento materno diante de si, da filha e do mundo, marcado por tensões entre ideais tradicionais de maternidade e valores contemporâneos de autonomia feminina. Este trabalho contribui para o aprimoramento das práticas psicológicas, propõe novas formas de pensar a maternidade e o adolescer dos filhos e fomenta reflexões voltadas ao suporte e à promoção dos direitos das mulheres, reconhecendo a maternidade como fenômeno plural.

The experience of motherhood is generally lived with great emotional intensity. With the arrival of adolescence, mothers face new challenges, especially with their daughters, who begin to question ideals of womanhood and motherhood, which can impact the relationship between them. This study aimed to understand how women experience the role of mother of female adolescents. It was a qualitative study that used unstructured individual interviews, initiated by a guiding question and conducted online. Ten women - mothers of female adolescentes- aged between 33 and 49 years participated in the study. The results presented individual analyses of each interview and a joint analysis, which sought to understand the unique experience of each participant and the emerging collective aspects. These analyses helped the researcher identify possible thematic axes. The discussion was developed from thematic axes defined with the support of Artificial Intelligence and subsequently verified by the researcher. The results revealed maternal repositioning in relation to herself, her daughter, and the world, marked by tensions between traditional ideals of motherhood and contemporary values of female autonomy. This work contributes to the improvement of psychological practices, proposes new ways of thinking about motherhood and the adolescence of children, and fosters reflections aimed at supporting and promoting women's rights, recognizing motherhood as a plural phenomenon.
