O Brasil � destaque global na produ��o e comercializa��o do suco de laranja, com forte presen�a no mercado internacional, o que exige uma atua��o mais sustent�vel. O presente estudo buscou conhecer as bases e avaliar os impactos das pr�ticas ESG sobre o desenvolvimento sustent�vel das maiores empresas do setor no pa�s. A metodologia utilizada foi qualitativa, bibliogr�fica, descritiva e documental. Em rela��o � incorpora��o do modelo ESG pelas organiza��es estudadas, verificamos que encontram-se em etapas diferentes, variando desde a ades�o ao Pacto Global da ONU e a��es voltadas aos pilares ESG, at� casos em que o ESG n�o � mencionado
Brazil is a global highlight in the orange juice's industry, with a strong presence in the international market, which requires a more sustainable performance. This study sought to understand and evaluate the impacts of ESG practices on the sustainable development of the largest companies in the sector in the country. The methodology used was qualitative, bibliographical, descriptive and documental. Regarding the incorporation of the ESG model by the organizations studied, we found that they are in different stages, ranging from adherence to the UN Global Compact and actions at ESG pillars, to cases in which ESG is not mentioned
