Abstract
Partindo deste questionamento, o presente trabalho analisa a websérie Imaginário (2016), do cineasta Bruno Esposti, que narra, em cada capítulo, uma lenda urbana ou folclórica do Brasil. Este artigo objetiva, portanto, detectar as intersecções entre folclore nacional, mídias digitais e o horror no audiovisual. Para realizar este estudo, faz-se uma revisão bibliográ f ica sobre o formato webséries, folkmídia e narrativa fantástica e de horror. Em seguida, analisa-se a websérie Imaginário, observando-se os principais elementos narrativos interes santes ao audiovisual, em diálogo com aspectos semânticos da cultura folclórica. Entre os principais resultados, percebe-se que as webséries podem se configurar como um formato de ficção seriada audiovisual capaz de resgatar elementos do folclore e da cultura popu lar (folkcomunicação), ressignificando-os e apresentando-os de modo massivo (folkmídia) para um público-alvo diversificado.
How can a serial fiction product apply elements of Brazilian folklore, in combination with the fantastic and the horror, to create its own narrative? Based on this question, the present work analyzes Imaginário webseries (2016), by filmmaker Bruno Esposti, that narrates, in each episode, an urban or folkloric legend of Brazil. Therefore, this article aims to place intersections between national folklore, digital media, and the horror into the audiovisual area. To carry out this study, a bibliographical review is carried out on the webseries, folkmedia and fantastic and horror narrative format. Then, the webseries Imaginário is analyzed, observing the main narrative elements interesting to the audiovisual, in dialogue with semantic aspects of folk culture. Among the results, it is noticed that webseries can be configured as an audiovisual serial fiction format that is able to of retake folklore and popular culture elements (folkcommunication), resignifying them and presenting them in a massive way (folkmedia) for diverse target audiences.
