O sofrimento humano à luz do mistério da Cruz de Cristo, tendo Maria como caminho seguro, exemplo de Fé e Esperança, e inspiração para uma ação pastoral mais Sensível e Misericordiosa

Abstract

Este Trabalho de Conclusão de Curso tem como finalidade refletir sobre o sofrimento humano à luz da cruz de Cristo, tendo a Virgem Maria como presença materna, modelo de fé e inspiração pastoral. A pesquisa parte da compreensão cristã do sofrimento e de como ele adquire sentido pleno na entrega e na redenção realizadas por Jesus. Em seguida, apresenta-se Maria como a Nova Eva, cuja obediência e disponibilidade permitem o início de uma nova etapa na história da salvação. A partir da relação inseparável entre Mariologia e Cristologia, mostra-se que Maria participa intimamente da missão do Filho, sendo discípula fiel e colaboradora da redenção. O estudo também aborda a presença de Maria desde as Bodas de Caná até o Calvário, onde, aos pés da cruz, ela se torna Mãe da Igreja e de toda a humanidade. Por fim, evidencia-se que Maria, por sua fé e atitude de esperança, oferece caminhos pastorais para enfrentar as dores e desafios da vida contemporânea, iluminando a caminhada daqueles que sofrem. Assim, este trabalho busca demonstrar que Maria não apenas acompanhou o sofrimento de Cristo, mas continua presente no sofrimento do povo de Deus, oferecendo amparo, intercessão e direção para uma vivência cristã mais humana e confiante.This Final Paper aims to reflect on human suffering in the light of the Cross of Christ, having the Virgin Mary as a maternal presence, a model of faith, and a pastoral inspiration. The research begins with the Christian understanding of suffering and how it finds its deepest meaning in the self-giving and redemptive act carried out by Jesus. It then presents Mary as the New Eve, whose obedience and openness to God make possible the beginning of a new stage in the history of salvation. Based on the inseparable relationship between Mariology and Christology, the study highlights Mary’s intimate participation in the mission of her Son, showing her as a faithful disciple and collaborator in the work of redemption. The research also explores Mary’s presence from the Wedding at Cana to the foot of the Cross, where she becomes the Mother of the Church and of all humanity. Finally, it demonstrates that Mary, through her faith and attitude of hope, offers pastoral paths to face the pains and challenges of contemporary life, illuminating the journey of those who suffer. Thus, this work shows that Mary not only accompanied Christ in His suffering but continues to be present in the suffering of God’s people, offering support, intercession, and guidance for a more human and confident Christian life.
