Abstract The location, management and cleaning of calcified canals make endodontic treatment quite complex. The emergence of new techniques has helped in the treatment, with the Endoguide being an approach with less risk of iatrogenic and minimal tooth wear. In addition, guided endodontics presents better results when associated with cone beam computed tomography, intraoral scanner and specific planning software, proving to be quite safe, fast, predictable and effective when compared to the conventional technique. Thus, this work, based on the literature, aims to describe the technique and clinical application of Endoguide, its advantages and disadvantages and clinical case reports. The research method used was the literature review, with articles obtained from databases. This concludes the importance of knowing the benefits achieved when opting for guided endodontic therapy.
